Veritor is extremely pleased to announce the
selection of Juli Klie, our President, as the Greater Rochester IT Woman
of the Year for 2002! This prestigious award, co-sponsored by the
Association for Women in Computing, the Women’s Council of the Greater Rochester Metro
Chamber of Commerce, and the Rochester Women’s Network, is presented each
year to an outstanding professional woman in the Information Technology
field. A panel of judges selected Juli for this honor based upon her
impact to the IT profession, as demonstrated by: • sustained contributions to the field • contributions advancing the status, opportunities, and
employment for women in the IT profession • community service At the April 25th, 2002
presentation ceremony, Juli was celebrated not only for her notable career
achievements, but also for her direct contributions to the establishment and
growth of technology businesses in the
region, the way in which her advocacy and mentoring has helped to advanced
the IT careers of others, and the role she has played in promoting
Rochester’s high tech community. Entre Computer Services presented a
scholarship in Juli’s name to Olayinka Akinlawon, named the
high school 2002 Young Woman of Distinction. Nominations from a nine county area resulted
