GEORGE F. WALLACE Partner George joined Veritor in April of 2002. He currently serves as an active member of
the Board of Directors of BOA Editions, Ltd. and as a member of the Board of
Directors of the Friends of Eastman Opera.
Previously, George was President and CEO of Thomson
Professional Publishing, a provider of business information for legal, tax
and accounting professionals. He then
took over the position of President and CEO of Clark Boardman Callaghan, a
$100 million legal publishing company then under the ownership of the Thomson
Corporation. Prior to that, George was
Vice President and General Manager of The McGraw-Hill Companies’ Professional
and Reference Division and was the Group Vice President of the McGraw-Hill
Companies book publishing operations in Europe, the Middle East, and
Africa. George holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical
Literature and a Masters of Science degree in History and Philosophy of
Education. He has completed several
short stories, one novel, and plays the classical guitar. |
